The Functional Diveristy Office (BORF), invites all students who face problems with studying or functioning in the academic community during their studies.
You can simply visit BORF if you need to talk, ask for advice or help, tell us about your needs and problems, get the solution. We’ll listen to you and notice.
We offer:
- psychological help
- assistant's help (also for students with ASD)
- Polish Sign Language Interpreter
- adaptation of teaching materials
- specialist equipment rental
- Individual Education Program (IEP) for people with special needs
- integration section in the Academic Sports Center (where people with limitations resulting from, for example, health conditions can find sports activities suitable for them)
- assistance in applying with scholarships and benefits (in particular for people with disabilities) REMEMBER! You can apply for scholarships and benefits, if you have health problems or you are under the care of a psychologist or psychiatrist.
BORF was established in February 2024 act for equalizing educational opportunities for people with functional diversity, but also for those who, in cases of sudden deterioration of health, face difficulties in pursuing education in a standard form.
